4/6/2023 0 Comments Quickshift usq4Tuning software version 3.30 or higher is required to communicate with later controllers that utilize Direct USB. Direct USB is fully plug-and-play, requiring no ".inf" file, driver configuration, or COM setting adjustments so that setup is easy. US Shift controllers with firmware version 3.3 or higher utilize our "Direct USB" communication protocol for USB connection without a driver. Keep in mind that we do not officially support these methods. Alternatively, you can use a virtual machine. Our software has also been unofficially tested on Windows XP under Mac OS / Parallels and Linux / WINE with good results. This strategy insures that our software can have no negative impact on your computer and can be removed by simply deleting the application directory. Full stack ecommerce fulfillment for same day delivery Quickshift is an e-commerce fulfillment services company that specialises in Inventory, Order. As a result, our software packages use a standalone executable file, make no changes to your Windows system, and do not install any DLLs or frameworks (such as. Our software development philosophy emphasizes robustness, safety, and simplicity. They offer two different products, the QSX Quickshifter and the Intellishift. Their systems are designed to be plug and play and have adjustable parameters. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Translogic quickshifters are used in motorcycle racing championships around the world, including MotoGP, British Superbike and World Endurance. We believe that the more you know about US Shift products, the more you will like them, so we encourage you to download and inspect our manuals and tuning software before you buy our products. Since load is reduced precisely (if tuned correctly) by the microcontroller, using the quickshifter is less damaging to the transmission than clutchless gear shifting without a quickshifter. The load on the transmission is generally reduced (or " unloaded") by cutting off the ignition and/or fuel supply in the engine, or by disengaging the clutch. They can provide a near-perfect gear shift in tens of milliseconds. They can either be separate from the engine control unit (ECU) or a single unit (meaning the ECU performs quick-shifting). We supply a load cell that is built for us. You can fit a switch type sensor like a Dynojet sensor or better still a load cell which will allow full adjustment of the shift force and allow you to see how much pressure is being used to make gear shifts. The microcontrollers generally control the ignition and/or fuel supply to reduce the load from the transmission when needed. A quickshift module cannot be connected that breaks the power to the ignition coils. A quickshifter that assists on the upshift eliminates the needed motion of the throttle. However, some sensors use a strain gauge, which is more expensive but may be more reliable and free from false readings due to vibrations since it has no moving parts. To cut down the time, though, racers and street demons have long performed the clutchless upshift, which involves rolling off the throttle momentarily to unload the drivetrain, selecting the next gear, and then getting back on the gas. Most gearshift sensors work by measuring the pressure change (push or pull) on the shift rod. However the method of sensing and reducing the load can vary. Almost all quickshifters work on the same basis, a sensor detects the gear shift action, a microcontroller ( CPU) processes the data (and calculates the timing) and cuts off ignition momentarily, resulting in a reduction of the load at the transmission allowing the new gear to slip (and engage) into place.
